Every year the Manitoba Agricultural Museum and the Canadian Foodgrains Bank (CFGB) fundraise together through the Heritage Harvest Field. Using a 65-acre field owned by the museum, a CFGB committee farms the land with proceeds from the crop shared between the organizations.
Over the last five years, the Heritage Harvest field has provided $114,000 directly to support the Canadian Foodgrains Bank and the Manitoba Agricultural Museum. Every dollar provided to these organizations generates additional matching dollars from government programs on a 4:1 basis, meaning even more support for these great organizations!
Join us as we use vintage farm equipment to harvest the 2022 spring wheat crop!
You can support the Heritage Harvest Field by Adopting an Acre through CanadaHelps. All donations help offset the price of crop inputs so that 100% of grains sales can be provided to these great organizations!
