The first Stationary Engine School will introduce you to the hobby of restoring antique stationary engines and cover important topics related to the theory, repair and operation of stationary gas engines. Subjects will include:
- valve, ignition, and combustion theory
- carburetor, mixer, and fuel pump theory
- safety and maintenance practices
- hands-on engine teardowns, with tips and tricks along the way
It will be a great weekend filled with learning and camaraderie. Fees will include meals and camping on the museum grounds for Friday and Saturday nights. The course is open to museum members and non-members alike.
