It is with heavy hearts that the Manitoba Agricultural Museum once again announces the cancellation of the 2021 Manitoba Threshermen’s Reunion and Stampede (MTRS) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival was scheduled for July 29 to August 1.
Throughout the festival’s 65-year history, the health and safety of the more than 11,000 visitors and volunteers that come to experience Canada’s largest heritage festival is our paramount priority. Events over the last few weeks have made it clear operating a large public festival in a COVID-safe manner is simply not feasible.
The International Cockshutt Collectors Club Summer Convention, which was scheduled to be the 2021 featured equipment brand, has been rescheduled for the 2023 edition of the festival.
Although we are not able to gather this year, we look forward to the return of the 2022 Manitoba Threshermen’s Reunion and Stampede on July 28 – 31, 2022.
We thank everyone for their support and kind words as we have worked through this difficult decision.
Stay well and we look forward to seeing everyone in 2022!
