Spend Louis Riel Day at the Museum … Travel through the Homesteaders’ Village on a horse-drawn sleigh (weather permitting), enjoy winter outdoor activities and warm up with hot chocolate around the bonfire! For a cultural treat, we will be serving bannock with jams and jellies from produce grown on the Museum grounds.
All day – Outdoor activities
- Self-guided visit of the museum
- Scavenger hunt
- Snacks, bannock and hot chocolate to enjoy around the bonfire!
1 to 4 pm – Horse drawn sleigh rides.
Sleigh rides are included with admission. Snowshoes rentals are included with admission (photo ID required in lieu of deposit). Hot dogs, bannock, s’mores and hot beverage are for sale at reasonable price.
Regular winter museum admission applies: $5 adults, $2.50 children under 12, $4 seniors.
